Letter, 1760 June 30, Williamsburg, to Landon Carter.

Fauquier thanks Carter for his £50 donation to the relief fund for sufferers of a fire in Boston; mentions publishing names of donors in the [Virginia] Gazette; also discusses a conversation on the subject of the clergy, as well as a clash with Mr. [John] Camm, after which Camm was forbidden further admission to the Governor's house.
